Well I’m so glad you asked. Many of you probably heard I was headed off to YWAM last summer, and so I was. Last June I packed my bags, and headed off to Lausanne, Switzerland in order to learn more about God and grow in my relationship with Him. That is essentially the crux of the DTS, or “Discipleship Training School”. This post is mostly a recap of what’s happened since then, and since exposition is boring I figured I tell most of it in pictures and captions.
During Lecture phase, we learned all about God, the Bible, and what it looks like to not only have Jesus as our savior, but as the Lord of our lives. I also had the opportunity to be discipled by the staff, who took their time to invest into me, and show me what it means to be a mature Christian. Some other topics included Missions and Evangelism, with weekly outreaches to the city in order to put what I was learning into practice. This all culminated in a 2 month outreach to Tanzania, in Africa. (Pictures below)
If you’re interested about the ministries I was involved in during my outreach, my team created the above video to give a snapshot of what it was like.
So THEN what’d he do?
Well, eventually it was graduation time, and time to go back home. I spent the holidays back in PA, and started working in preparation for…well, why don’t you just read my next post?
Great video recap of Tanzania! I’ve waited a looong time for this! 😍
